Out of the Blue for Lazenby's Financial Services

Whilst they liked by abstract style, they wanted the 'L' of their logo incorporating into the piece.

Not something that I had done before - but there's nothing like a challenge.

Using their brand guidelines I created a couple of test pieces to show the different treatments and also how their accent colours could be added to their main blue & teal colours.

On seeing the test pieces, it was decided that there would be a blend of the two tests and that the accent colours would be minimal.

The final piece was then created at a finished size of 1m x 1m on a 40mm deep box canvas.

The 'L' was painted and then the background worked around it.

This was a really challenging piece, but adding the logo into the background really brings another dimension to the finished piece. The finished piece was the sealed and delivered complete with a certificate of authenticity.
